ERA Technology Ltd -
Project Leader - ERA Technology Ltd operates as an independent technology
engineering consultancy. Since its founding in 1925, the company has
supported government and the electrical and electronics industry
worldwide. ERA Technology Ltd works in two key areas: regulatory
compliance / technical consultancy, and advanced electrical product
design. It has previously carried out extensive work for the European
Commission and UK government on RoHS implementation including studies on
exemptions, and potential inclusion of Categories 8 (medical) and 9
(monitoring and control) in scope. ERA Technology Ltd consults on
technical and compliance related issues concerning substance restrictions
(REACH and RoHS), ecodesign (EuP and ErP), end-of-life (WEEE) and other

Bio Intelligence
Service - Project Partner - Active since 1989 in research and
consultancy in the field of environmental and health information on
products, BIO's expertise is widely recognised in France and in Europe. A
pioneer in the life cycle assessments and ecodesign, BIO offers a range
of services to decision makers in private and public sectors to aid
effective policy making. In the context of the Ecodesign Directive of the
European Commission, BIO has been involved in 17 of the 27 preparatory
studies since 2006. In addition, BIO is actively engaged in various
initiatives related to the Integrated Product Policy (IPP) of the
European Commission and also provides its rich expertise in impact
assessment, multi-criteria analyses (especially economic and
environmental dimensions) of relevant policy instruments.
